Samburu Safari (3 Days, 2 Nights)

Depart from Nairobi at 0700 hrs and drive north of Nairobi covering a distance of approximately 310 km. This is a scenic journey through the tea, coffee & sisal plantations. There will be an en-route stopover to view Mount Kenya with its snow-capped peaks.

Your drive will proceed past the equator crossing to the semi-arid county of Samburu. Embark on your first game drive en route to our lodge or tented camp for check-in and lunch.

This will be a full day of unlimited wildlife viewing. Possible sightings include unique wildlife species like oryx, gerenuk, Somali ostrich, Gravy’s zebra, reticulated giraffe, and other wild animals peculiar to this semi-arid region.

Your game drives will be along the Ewaso Nyiro river where most of the wild animals are found. All meals and overnight in the same lodge or tented camp.

Optional game drive before breakfast. After breakfast, depart and drive back to Nairobi. Lunch en route. Arrive in Nairobi in the afternoon.
